Junk Pickup Across Rockwall, TX

From the lakefront to the north side of town. Here's how Rockwall's own bulk service works, and when it makes sense to call instead. It's the center of our Rockwall junk removal service.

Rockwall's Bulk Rules in Plain English

Rockwall changed its trash service at the start of 2026, so older advice may be out of date. Under the city's current rules, Republic Services collects brush and bulk at the front curb, not the alley. Items need to be out by 7 am on the Monday of your scheduled week, and they will be collected sometime that week. The limit is 6 cubic yards, measured as 9 feet long, 6 feet high and 3 feet wide. Anything over that needs a call to schedule a special pickup.

Trucks will not take hazardous waste, construction material, tires, rock, excavation dirt, scrap building material or debris from major remodeling. Fence posts with concrete attached and railroad ties are also out. Rules can change, so check the city's page before setting anything out.

When It Makes Sense to Call

The city covers a lot, so hiring is mostly for what it doesn't. That might be a sofa still upstairs, a remodel pile, a move-out date that doesn't match your bulk week, or a cleanout too big for one curbside pile. Homes with alley-facing garages have one more hurdle, since getting things around to the front is its own project.

A County Built on Stone

Rockwall takes its name from the underground rock formation discovered in the early 1850s, and it sits in the smallest county in Texas. For a town of its age, that means older houses near the center of town and newer subdivisions on the edges, often just a few minutes apart. The junk varies with them: decades of keepsakes in one house, moving boxes and builder leftovers in the next.

Junk Removal Services Available Across Rockwall

All six services are available here. General junk hauling handles mixed piles from a closet or a storage room. Furniture removal helps when a piece is stuck upstairs or won't wait for your bulk week, and construction debris removal covers the remodel material the city's trucks exclude.

Older homes near the middle of town may also call for an estate cleanout or a garage cleanout after years of storage. Whichever fits, the estimate is free and there is no obligation.
