Rockwall Junk Removal Questions, Answered
The questions people ask most before booking, sorted by where you are in the process.
Before You Call
What can you haul away?
Most household and business items: furniture, appliances, boxes, equipment, garage clutter, estate belongings and suitable renovation debris. If you are unsure about an item, describe it when you call.
What can't you take?
Hazardous materials such as chemicals and fuels usually need a separate route. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has guidance on household hazardous waste, and Rockwall and Heath both offer pickup programs for residents.
Should I use the city's bulk pickup instead?
If your items are allowed, can reach the curb and can wait for your scheduled week, it is often the sensible first choice. Rules vary by city, so check yours. Hiring helps with what doesn't fit.
Do you work with landlords and businesses?
Yes. Residential and commercial jobs are both welcome, including rentals between tenants.
Price and Estimates
How much will it cost?
It depends on volume, weight, item type, access and labor, so there is no flat price. The cost guide goes through each factor.
Is there a charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.
What helps the estimate be accurate?
A description of the items, where they are, stairs or gates in the way, and photos if you have them.
On the Day
Do I need to be home?
That depends on the job and access. Bring it up when you schedule, so you can agree on how it will work.
Do items need to be outside?
Not necessarily. Say where the items are when you call, and we will go over access.
What if I change my mind about an item?
Set aside or clearly mark anything that stays, and speak up before it is loaded.
How soon can you come?
It depends on availability, job size and location. If you are on a deadline, mention it early.
After the Haul
Where does everything go?
Applicable items are recycled or donated. Other items go for disposal.
Who can I contact if there is a problem?
Use the phone number or form on the Contact page. The Complaints Policy explains the process.
Still Have a Question?
Call or send the form. The estimate is free and there is no obligation.
